Many veteran-owned and veteran-hiring businesses grow fast on strong operators, only to hit a wall when those same operators are asked to lead people, not just execute. I work as a fractional advisor to leadership teams navigating that transition — bringing 25 years of experience building corporate learning strategy, leadership pipelines, and organizational effectiveness systems at organizations including Home Depot, Hughes Telematics, and Verizon.

This is advisory work, not training delivery or program-building. I help leadership teams think clearly about their biggest people-strategy decisions — through focused 90-day engagements or ongoing fractional advisory retainers — while your team or trusted partners handle execution.

My perspective is also shaped by 10 years coaching U.S. Special Forces personnel through career transitions, giving me a unique vantage point on how military leadership experience translates into business impact. JASON MARTIN

My background spans 25 years building corporate learning strategy, leadership pipelines, and organizational effectiveness systems at companies including Home Depot, Hughes Telematics, and Verizon — including leading the training rollout for an operational model that changed how 150,000 employees did their jobs, and certifying Master Trainers to sustain that change at scale.

For 10 years, I’ve also coached U.S. Special Forces personnel through the transition into civilian careers — work that gave me a front-row view of how military leadership translates (and doesn’t) into business environments, and deep relationships across the veteran-owned business community.

Today, I work as a fractional advisor — typically through focused 90-day strategic engagements or ongoing fractional retainers — helping leadership teams get clarity on leadership development priorities, talent systems, and organizational readiness for growth. This is advisory work: I bring judgment and strategic direction; your team (or your existing partners) leads execution.
